Aamir is a 2008 Indian Bollywood social, thriller film released on Jun 06, 2008. The film is directed by Rajkumar Gupta, produced by Ronnie Screwvala under banner named Utv Motion Pictures, music composed by Amit Trivedi.
Aamir Ali lives a middle-classed conducts in Mumbai along with family comprising of his dad, Rashid; mom, Taranum; three sisters: Nargis, Falak and Shabana; and a brother, Jameel. After his dad death, Aamir shifts to Britain where he studies and obtains a medical degree, and returns home. On his return to Mumbai Airport, he is annoyed by the Customs Officer and his luggage is searched several times. Finally, he is allowed to leave. Outside the airport he is contacted by two men on a motorbike, and one of them hands him a mobile phone. Aamir takes the mobile phone and thus begins his ordeal that will push him all the way to Dongri, then to Bhendi Bazar, where he will be given a red bag containing cash. He will be told that he must hand over this suitcase at another area within a specified time or else his family will be brutally murdered.
