Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Aan Milo Sajna (1970)
A jobless and idle son Anil (Vinod Khanna) asks Varsha (Asha Parekh) to put up an act of being his fiancee in front of his mother, who threatens to get him married or be ready to be deprived of her property. Anil introduces Varsha as Deepali, his fiancee to his mother (Nirupa Roy). Deepali who has been craving for motherly affection since childhood is delighted to have Anil's mother who she looks up to as her own mother. Deepali's caring & compassionate nature impresses Anil's mother & she decides to make Deepali the nominee of her property. Deepali/Varsha also finds her love interest in Ajit (Rajesh Khanna) in the same village. Deepali's father is a judge who immediately recognises Anil's mother who was a part of a case which he had judged. He had acquitted Anil's father who was charged for the murder of Ajit's father but was set free on the false statement of Anil's mother that he had shot Ajit's father because he was trying to rape her. Her guilt returns after so many years when Varsha's father refuses to give the marriage of Varsha with Ajit & she now discloses the truth to Ajit. Anil begins to feel that he will go bankrupt if his mother nominates Varsha as her successor. Hence Anil plays all kinds of tricks to deceive Ajit but fails & eventually realises his mistake & apologises to his mother.
