Abhay is a 1994 Indian Bollywood film released on 1994. The film is directed by Annu Kapoor. The old bungolow of the erstwhile Rana has just been purchased by Mr. Nayak. His famaly comprising of wife two naughty sons and a young daughter, who is a born painter, move in. . the new inmates have been warned that the place is haunted and that the old Ranas spirit moves around mysteriously. But that does not frighten the family. In fact the youngster take it upon themseleves to find out more about the ghost. . The ghost and his fellow ghosts work out the drtails to jitter and scare the Nayak family away. But the children, on the contrary, teach the Ranas ghost a lesson and father has to intervene to save him. . It is however the young girl, with her sensitivity and understanding who provides the healing touch for the ghost who had lost his young daughter and yearned for love and sympathy. He confides his sorrows to her. It is only afer unburdening himself that the ghost finds peace. This film is thus about children who will not be cowed down by fear of the unknown.
