My review of Barefoot To Goa (2015) by madhu20balaji
madhu20balaji, 9 years agoThe children of the 21st century hardly grow with the pampering of grandparents since most of the families have turned nuclear over time. “Barefoot to Goa” is a story that brings the mixture of ancient tradition with modernization into lights. It is a documentary combined drama film. Two kids travel all the way to Goa without any knowledge about the journey from Mumbai. They head the journey to meet their beloved grandmother who fell sick, staying miles isolated from her family. The kids, elder boy and the little girl encounter a lot of peculiar situations through their journey. The experiences and circumstances they overcome reveal a lot about the lifestyle and lovely characteristics of people of the area. Meanwhile the mother hunts for her children lodging a complaint on the missing kids. The story is filled with right set of emotion and the love bond that the grandparents and grandchildren hold between them.
