Aditya Chopra’s film reminds us that a well-shot Bollywood romantic film can be so entertaining even when it does not offer anything new…Read full review3.5

Befikre might have its flaws, but it still deserves your time thanks to a breezy narrative and fantastic performances by Ranveer and Vaani. Expect something on the lines of DDLJ and you will be disappointed. However, if you have a thing for entertaining romcoms, then Befikre can be that fun date movie for you.Read full review3.5

…despite these abundant things to appreciate, cinematically, Befikre is ridden with flaws. It has a convoluted second half. There is a genuine lack of impeccable chemistry but individually they do a smooth job to even out the odds. However, these hitches don’t kill the carefree spirit of the film. This one makes you want to rejoice, laugh with abandon, love unabashedly, kiss freely and dance with joy. Aur kya chahiye? This movie feels a lot like love.Read full review3.0

Befikre proves that Aditya Chopra is a master storyteller when it comes to love stories. Watch it for Ranveer’s easiest and most natural performance. A true romcom the film won’t disappoint fans of the genre.Read full review3.0

Befikre is best enjoyed when you go in without any expectations at all. The film is not boring. And that’s what makes it a decent one-time watch.Read full review3.0

‘Befikre’ is fun watch, even though it is a bit fuzzy. There is much brightness on the screen, and breeziness in the air. Many might find the film rather fickle. But, that’s just the movie trying to reflect the lives all around usRead full review2.5

Befikre values entertainment as much as you want those Rs 100 notes these days. Be sure of getting entertained by Ranveer Singh’s charisma and Vaani Kapoor’s French. But, don’t wish for more. The Yash Raj bank too delivers under restrictions.Read full review2.5

Befikre can be summed up in three Fs – fun, frothy and frivolous at the same time. Could become a preferred choice for collegians.Read full review2.5

Befikre is a minefield of ideas. It has a deep desire to be erotic and funny but for all its progressive ambitions, it tells a jaded story. Modern people struggle to come out of their clichéd Indian-Punjabi moulds and that just foils all the fun.Read full review2.5

I didn’t hate BEFIKRE but that doesn’t mean that I loved it either. The adorable Ranveer and Vani made it watchable but not lovable.Read full review2.5

To put it in words, watching Befikre is like bungee-jumping. It’s best enjoyed only if you get soaked in its carefreeness without worrying for a smooth (flawless) landing!Read full review2.0

What the film lacks is genuine feeling. Yes, even the frothiest of rom-coms need something real to keep you invested in its characters. Aditya Chopra may have made one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring love stories, but this is a soufflé that sinks like a stone.Read full review1.5

This will also go down as the film which, despite its close clinches, male and female (yesss), its rumpled-bedsheets-and-bedroom-antics, gave us a romance that never ignites. The fire between the lovers is restricted to the songs-and-dances; Ranveer and Vaani don’t burn it up.Read full review1.5

It starts out shrill, turns predictable, and ends up chaotic. To use the language of the youth Aditya Chopra is attempting to speak, let’s call it Befi-cray-cray.Read full review1.5

No matter how casually his characters treat sex or bare every inch of their extraordinarily fit bodies, Aditya Chopra is too much of a romantic to pull off flippancy as the face of loveRead full reviewNR

Befikre might not be the best commercial flick you will watch in 2016. It is easier to say this being in the last month of the year. Having said that, it could be one you can watch, smile at and say, “Yup. It was cool”.Read full reviewNR
