Summing up, Deepak Tijori has got the goodies as far as the music is concerned and let’s hope he delivers with his direction too.

With fresher dialogues, more credible situations and a less clunky attitude to that thing called love Do Lafzon Ki Kahani could have been a far more gratifying ode to romantic yearnings.

If you’re not the romantic kind, Randeep’s acting and his ‘ode to Sylvester Stallone’ (his workout sequences) will be a delight then.

Overall, ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ is a sentimental film that will woo any romantic.

The film uses a series of cliché and the sympathy seeking tactics make you roll your eyes.

Tijori’s film has its moments but it’s way too tedious to be called Do Lafzon Ki Kahani.

DO LAFZON KI KAHANI has nothing much to say literally. Though the movie is faithful to its believe on love, the presentation lacks novelty. The makers should have understood that love is blind but lovers of good love story are not.

‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ is actually a tale of two words which has been stretched as a never-ending tale. Though, the initial romance, Randeep’s performance, Kajal’s presence and few good songs work in the favour of the film.

Give this film a miss and thank me later. As for Deepak Tijori, I guess he will have to wait a little longer before he tastes success as a filmmaker.

That actually reflects the state of Do Lafzon Ki Kahani as a whole. It is a cinematic calamity. One question: what is more abominable – the soap opera that the heroine is hooked to or this insipid and lachrymose tale? It is a toss-up. Walk into this storm only if you have the disposition to withstand the ugly gusts.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani will put you off love stories all together. We wish it was just limited to ‘Do Lafz’ but its never ending run time is difficult to sit through.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani has nothing much to offer apart from Randeep Hooda and the MMA sequences. Watch it if you swear by Hooda.

…has a weak script coupled with poor direction. At the box office it will fail to impress.

Even in the absence of a terribly sensible script, this could have been tender and a tear-jerking film, if the director Deepak Tijori had a less absurd script and a little more sensitivity at his disposal. Hooda and Aggarwal look great together.

This could be Deepak Tijori’s best directorial effort, but that doesn’t say much about the film. If it wasn’t for the performances of both Randeep and Kajal, especially the former, the film would have been a total disaster. Can give a miss.P.S. – what was the idea of setting the film in Malaysia, when every second person you meet is an Indian?

The only point of interest in this Randeep Hooda, Kajal Aggarwal starrer is that it is set in Kuala Lumpur, a city Bollywood doesn’t much get around to.

This is a remake of a Korean film Always/ Only You. Also remade a year ago in Kannada as Boxer. And it successfully hammers the last nail in the coffin of groan-inducing schmaltzy romances. She’s blind and he’s burnt out and they fall in love. She talks so much, it’s a miracle they don’t announce half-way through the movie that he’s gruff and quiet because he’s deaf.

The words “Love never hurts, love heals,” shine bright in the final frame, thereby proving that this film is like that mysterious facebook friend (you don’t remember why and when you added this creature) who keeps sharing emo Archie-card forwards on their wall in ghastly sMs LiNgO.

Watch the film if you are a die-hard Randeep Hooda fan! Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’s story is interesting but lacks the correct direction to make a good romance.

This is exactly the sort of no-hope venture that Randeep Hooda seems to land up in again and again, frustrating those who believe that he ought to be a much bigger star and above dross of this sort by now.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani is way too pedestrian. The mushy tagline doesn’t help either: “Love never hurts… Love heals”. I would have added “Love bores to tears” to that.

The low-grade aesthetic isn’t as much a creative decision as a sign that somebody on this production decided to keep a firm handle on the budget. The title says it all: unable to improve on or add anything to the Korean source, the filmmakers have decided to keep it brief.
