Page 3 is a story about journalist Madhavi Sharma(Konkana Sen Sharma). Her assignment is to write articles for the third page with updates on celebrities she meet at parties and get-togethers. She gets to meet famous people and celebrities, all of whom welcome her and provide her with personal and business updates. She shares her room with Pearl Sequiera(Sandhya Mridul) an out spoken airhostess, who would like to meet a wealthy man and settle down. While travelling by train after a party Madhvi meets an young attractive woman Gayatri Sachdeva(Tara Sharma) who wants to become an actress and because she has no place to live, Madhavi brings her to her own apartment. Then things change for Madhavi and her friends. Pearls meets her millionaire man, someone much older than her, marries him and relocates to New York. Gayatri gets impregnated by Rohit Kumar (Bikram Saluja), a leading married bollywood actor who refuses to have anything to do with her because of which she tries to kill herself. She however does not succeed and returns back home to Delhi. Madhavi exposes Rohit's role and is immediately asked to tender an apology to Rohit. She finds that she cannot handle her assignments anymore and asks for a transfer to Crime Beat. There she starts working with Vinayak Mane (Atul Kulkarni) and thus begins her new life. Things change rapidly for Madhavi when Anjali Thapar commits suicide and she does an expose on exploitaton of young children which leads to termination of her job.
