SAMAY :- This part deals with three persons . Elder brother, younger brother and elder brother's wife . The elder brother's wife has a lust for her brother in law. But he looks up to her as his mother. As a result she slowly and steadily becomes mad. ASAMAY :- This part deals with a newly married couple who are very poor. A person named Madan of thier village takes the husband to Kolkata and starts having a relation with the wife. And to get a square meal, she accept this. One morning her husband returns to his villege to find his wife having an adulterous relation with Madan, gets angry and starts fighting with Madan. The wife takes an axe and kills Madan as well as her husband. This incident makes her mad and she gets admitted in a mental asylum. DUSSAMAY:- this part revolves around a prostitute and the circumstances which compel her to join this profession. Anita, who lost husband has noone but her father. But her father marries their widowed maid. She was tortured both physically and mentally. Her uncle rapes her. Getting frustrated, she Becomes a prostitute. And one day she sees her own father come to meet his physical desires.
