Amitabh Bachchan is a Actor and also worked as Singer, Producer, Narrator, Thanks to, Presenter. Amitabh Bachchan has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Bengali, English, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada.

He was born on October 11, 1942. He was born to Harivansh Rai Bachchan. His father was a well known poet. His mother named as Teji Bachchan was a Sikh. His younger brother is Ajitabh. He did his schooling from the boy’s school, Allahabad. He then went to Sherwood College. He then did his education from Kirori Mal College, Delhi. In 1968, he shifted to Mumbai to seek his career in the films. His first movie was Saat Hindustani (1969). Even though the movie was flopped, still Amitabh got appreciation from the critics. Then Hrishikesh Mukherjee got a film offer in Anand with Rajesh Khanna in the lead role. Even after this he received appreciation for his role. But still after this, he was not having any movie as a lead. Most of the films didn’t work well. Then his luck started from the film Zanjeer. It became a much hit movie and it made Amitabh the ultimate superhero. Then with many movies like: Sholay, Deewar, Mr. Natwarlal, Muqaddar ka Sikander, Khoon Pasina, Don, Laawaris, and Amar Akbar Anthony etc were blockbuster hits. Mr. Bachchan is married to Jaya Bhaduri who was also a known actress. Amitabh has two children: Abhishek and Shweta Nanda.
