She was born on 9 January 1965. She is the Indian actress, director, producer and choreographer. She is known for her role in the bollywood choreography. She has choreographed more than 100 songs over 80 films. She has also worked in International projects like: Marigold: An Adventure in India, Monsoon Wedding and the Chinese film Perhaps Love. Her mother Menaka is the sister of Honey Irani. She is the sister of Sajid Khan. Film actor Farhan Akhtar is her cousin. She is married to Shirish Kunder, who is the editor of Main Hoon Na. Then both of them got married and they have one son and two daughters. She has studied sociology from St. Xavier’s college, Mumbai. Then after this, she inspired to become a choreographer. Then she learned dance on her own. Then after this, she set her own dance academy and then she entered films. She did choreography for Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Kabhi haa kabhi naa.
