Pankaj is a Actor and also worked as Singer, Music Director, Director, Costumes Designer, Choreographer, Assistant Director. Pankaj has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Kannada, Bengali.
He is an Indian director, actor and a television presenter. He had worked in the movies such as Ek Doctor Ki Maut (1991), Raakh (1989), and Maqbool (2003). He is the recipient of National awards. He had worked with the actors such as Naseeruddin Shah, Manoj Bajpai, Om Puri and Irrfan Khan. He was ex-student of "Walking Acting school of India". He took his graduation degree from Government College, Ludhiana. He did an acting workshop from the National School of Drama (NSD). He had directed 74 plays including Drishtanth, Mohandas B.A.L.L.B, Sahabji Biwiji Ghulamji, Wah Bhai Wah, and Kanak Di Balli, Albert's Bridge, Panchvan Savaar etc. He is married to Supriya Pathak.
