She attended the University of Mumbai at SIES College of Commerce and Economics with a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in journalism.She started her acting career from the movie: Siddu from Srikakulam.She did many Telugu movies that include: Target, 18, 20 Love Story, Diary and Adhineta, but were not successful. Her roles in the movies: Maro Charitra produced by Dil Raju, opposite Varun Sandesh, Arya (Arya 2), Mantra (Diary) and Chandramukhi (Nagavalli) were applauded. She made her Bengali debut with the movie: The Royal Bengal Tiger. She currently is busy with the movies: Lucky Kabootar and Chai Shai Biscuit and is working on Zid produced by Anubhav Sinha.
