Sonam Kapoor is a Actor and also worked as Assistant Director. Sonam Kapoor has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.
She was born on 9 June 1985. She is known as a style diva. She is the daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. She hails from the Kapoor family. She began her career by assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Then she got her first break in the movie ’Saawariya’, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Although the film didn’t work well at the box-office but she was appreciated for her role. Then she did movies like: Delhi 6, I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Raanjhanaa (2013), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. She supports many charities and is also a social activist.She has endorsed many well-known brands and she is also called regularly for her Cannes film festival visit. Her sister Rhea Kapoor is her fashion stylist. She completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir School in Juhu. Then she got enrolled in United World College of South East Asia, a boarding school in Singapore to do international Baccalaureate. She also worked in the theatre for two years.
