She was born on 29 December 1974. She is an Interior designer and an actress too. She has acted in bollywood and Telugu movies. She is the daughter of Dimple Kapadia and late.Rajesh Khanna. She is the wife of Akshay Khanna. She is the co-owner of ‘The White Window’ store. She made her bollywood debut with the film ’Barsaat’, opposite Bobby Deol. She got ‘Filmfare award’ for the movie. She then was flooded with many offers. She did many well known roles in many films. She has also worked with many known names of the bollywood like: Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan and Govinda. She did movies like: Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998), Baadshah (1999), and Mela (2000) with Aamir Khan. After getting married, she left the acting industry and then entered the interior designing profession. She won Elle Decor International Design Award (from Indian edition of Elle Decor magazine).
