  This serial revolves around the daily happenings of Gokuldham society. This society has families who are from different races and background. The serial has families that include The Gadas, pure Gujarati family, the Mehta’s, The Iyers who are South Indians, The Sikh family, The Punjabi, The Marathi’s family. All the families have their children whose lead is Tappu Senna. The story revolves around their doses of fun, excitement and thrill every day. There is Tarak Mehta in the story who gives a short outline of what will happen in the serial. The serial is very hilarious and it makes you go crazy. The story also conveys a social message after every serial. The story is based on many ups and down that take place daily in the serial. Sometimes its about picnic, sometimes it’s about celebrating days or sometimes it’s about teaching lessons to those who have done wrong. The serial was started on 28 July 2008 on SAB TV. And till today, it is the longest running television serial in the television history. There are many ‘not to be missed’ moments in the serials that make you laugh, cry and crosses all the boundaries of fun and entertainment. This serial has also been honored with many awards and to all those characters that have been a part of this. The serial’s main centre of attraction is Dayaben, whose humor and hilarious jokes makes you laugh. She is fun to watch. The serial’s lead is Disha Vakhani (Dayaben) and Dilip Joshi (Jhethalal Gada) whose every little prank makes the audiences blow whistles to their acts. The serial also invites people from industry who promote their films and movies. The director of this serial has decided to make a film on the serial because of the demand from the audiences. The story will have many characters who will be taken from the serial while there will be many who will be from the industry.
