  • Director Ketan Mehta is all set to relaunch India’s first liveaction science super hero fiction Captain Vyom (Milind Soman) on the digital platform. The very popular series was previously telecast on DD National. The series revolves around Captain Vyom, a space warrior who is assigned the job of arresting 12 deadly criminals who escape the high security prison in the IO, located on the eighth moon of the planet Jupiter which gets destroyed after a meteor strike and its security system disables.

  • After selling UTV to Disney, Ronnie Screwvala is all set to start his own production house called RSVP (Ronnie Screw(V)ala Productions) and he has signed Anand Tiwari to direct Love Per Square Feet – A Great Love Story. It’s a unique romcom, which goes on the floors at the end of this year.
  • Akshat Verma, who wrote Delhi Belly, has turned director with Kala Kaanti featuring Saif Ali Khan, who plays the protagonist in the film. The film is a quirky comedy and has three different stories. It also shows the night life of Mumbai in a neverseenbefore light. The film will mark the Hindi debut of Isha Talwar, who has done quite a few films in the South.
  • While shooting in Powai in Mumbai for Akshat Verma’s Kala Kaanti, Saif reportedly injured his thumb in a gun misfire and was immediately rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in the city suburbs. The actor apparently also had to undergo a minor surgery for the same.
