Story
The story of this movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s famous 2009 novel with the same name. The story starts with Arjun Kapoor and Aliya Bhatt in the college. Both of them got admission in the IIM College. One day, both of them met each other while they were having their lunch. Now after this, they both start studying together. Krish and Ananya both start liking each other and then Krish confess his love to Ananya. After this, Ananya accepts him and bothof them are committed to each other. AS the college days go by, Ananya asks Krish for the commitment. But, Krish is not in that state to share the lifetime relationship with each her because Krish’s father shared a very poor relationship with his mother. So on the day of their campus recruitment, Krish finally gets ready to share his living with Anaya. Now, Ananya and Krish both of them while getting their degrees introduces each other to their family members, but they both are in opposition with each other. Then still, they decide to take their relationship to the next stage when Krish goes to Chennai to do his job and then he is there to impress Ananya’s family. Her family is happy with Krish, now the same strategy she does with his family. But there comes a stage when these two gets separate. jyothimathur, 9 years agoTwo different states all together!The story starts with the introduction of Krish Malhotra. He is a student of IIM. He hails from a background where his father is dominating. He hates Krish and he is alcoholic. Krish is an engineer and he has received admission in IIM, Ahmadabad. One day, he meets with Ananya who is a Tamilian. She is a crazy and a very vivacious girl. She lives life on her terms. She is a graduate and she is the classmate of Krish. Krish after seeing her for the first time falls in love with her. It is after this, Krish and Ananya decides to study together. Both of them spend quality time with each other and fall in love. But Krish hesitates to confess this to Ananya. Ananya on getting to know about Krish’s behavior falls in love with him. She also confesses her feelings to him. They spend those two years of their college together and there is now a time to appear for the campus placements. Ananya asks Krish to take their relationship to the next level by giving her the commitment. Krish realizes his responsibility after he faces the interview and both of them introduces their families at the time convocation ceremony. Initially their families are against their love. Krish goes to Chennai to convince Ananya’s family. Initially, the family declines his hand to Ananya. But in the end he convinces them. Ananya too impresses Krish’s mother by attending the wedding of her cousin. Still Krish’s father is the same. In the middle of the film, Krish and Aananya put an end to their relationship just because of their families. But in the end these two families accept their relationship. They decide to get them married after Ananya and Krish’s relationship is stagnant. But, It is Krish’s changed father who decides to get them married and both of them tie the knot in a Tamilian wedding. The film is taken from the Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 States. The movie creates an over lasting impression on the minds of viewers. The film has many clean segments where you get to see Alia’s super acting skills. Arjun in Krish’s character has given his ‘the best’. The film’s director has worked hard in getting the characters right. Shankar Ehsaan’s Loy’s work as music composers have worked extremely well in the film. The songs give you a soothing touch in the film. The supporting cast involving Amrita, Ronit Roy and many others have worked well. The film is a blockbuster and it leaves audiences with many heart throbbing moments. The film is a must watch. The film is for today’s young generation who has fallen in love for someone. This film conveys a solid message and it is an example for today’s generation. A practical and a very positive approach for all audiences. This film is also for the Parents whose children are in love with someone. The cinematography is excellent and so are the sets. -
