2001 Do Hazaar Ek 1998

2001 Do Hazaar Ek is a 1998 Indian Bollywood suspense film released on Feb 20, 1998. The film is directed by Raj N. Sippy, produced by Kiran Ramsay.

Following the brutal execution of a call­girl named Julie in Bombay city, two police officers namely Anil Sharma and Rajat Bedi, are given the task to investigate and bring the victim(s) to book. Anil & Rajat note that the murder leaves "2001" marked on the body of the dupe. Anil comes to know that the boy staying in Julie's room is a prominent Member of State Parliament named Ramaswamy, and would like to list him as a thin. Julie's death is followed by more assassinations in the same style, and murdered are Advocates Sarkari and Kajal, and a boy named Krishna Rao. Then Ramaswamy himself is invaded, but survives and is operated. When he gets back consciousness for a brief period of time, he points a finger at Rajat and then lapse. Not needing to take any chance, Police officer Malik has Rajat under home arrest. Then Anil comes across some clue that links the murder to none other than Malik himself, while Rajat starts to collecttogether evidence against Anil. The question still arises: Is the assassin one of these police officers? If it is possible which one, or are all three together involved in these gruesome deaths?
