When his coach Lala Lajpatrai is ferociously beaten to death by the force Bhagat Singh is enraged and he sets about to vindicate his death. He and his colleagues do flourish in killing one of the officials culpable, but they are identified and as a result they are seized and held in prison where they are annoying endlessly. They are then confined to a life in prison. So, they are charged with a more honest crime - treason and foul play - a crime that is punishable by casualty.
