With no means of transmission, transiting, or even electricity, a sundry group are ashored at Juhu's Barista Cafe during Mumbai's rain deluge on July 26, 2005, including: Delhi-based Shivam, who, after transferring to Mumbai, has fixed an ad on Shaadi.com to find his sweetheart; Jabalpur-born Sanam meets with an agent to get her entry in Bollywood; Simran and her husband , a couple who is worried about their children who are at Esselworld; a daring father, aground in Four Bungalows, looking for his school-going daughter, Neetu; an agony-stricken and perturbed grandmother is charging herself for losing her grandchild in the floods; Mumbai-born Rashi is worried to get in touch with her equally anxious mother; while two police officers appearing on the scene to question this group as they pseudo one of them may be bank bandit who got away with a large sum of money.
