Aai Tuza Ashirwad is a 2004 Indian Marathi drama film released on Jul 09, 2004. The film is directed by Mayur Miniyar.
This is the story of Suraj. He is raised by his mother, Urmila and his grandfather, Raosaheb. His grandfather is very proud of his grandson. But both mom and his grandfather dislike his habit of lying every time. Due to his habit, Urmila decides not to talk to him. He is not able to tolerate his mother’s silence and therefore he promises her not to lie again. But, things change and one day he has to break his promise and his mother Urmil blesses him for his work. Suraj is raised with great love and care by his mother Urmilla and grandfather Raosaheb. While Urmilla adores Suraj, Raosaheb is particularly proud of his intelligence as well as sporting skills. However, they both dislike Suraj's habit of lying. Every time he lies, Urmilla devoids all communication with Suraj as punishment. Unable to tolerate his mother's silence, Suraj vows never to lie again. Nevertheless, things take a dramatic turn when Suraj is forced to break his promise and instead of punishment, he incurs Urmilla's blessings.
