Aaj Ka Dada is a 1985 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Jan 01, 1985. The film is directed by V. V. Kuganathan, produced by D. Ramesh Naidu.
Suraj is a revolutionary youth who cannot bear injustice. But his father Jai Prakash is all for non-voilence and sends him to the city. Here he meets Veena who falls in love with him as he fights for the poor and the down-trodden. Her father wants married to his business patner Vishnu, but Suraj accidently kills him and is sentenced to be hanged. Dhanraj is the only man who can save Suraj from the gallows by producing reliable eye witness to the murder but he would do it only if Veena married him. Veena acceds and Surajs sentence is commuted. On release again falls fouls of Dhanraj. Veena pays with her life to see that Dhanraj behaves himself.
