Akash and Aditi grow up to be two close friends in a village. Akash has a soft corner for Aditi. One day a doctor comes to the health center in the village permanently. Soon the doctor Diganta and Akash become friends. Diganta becomes close to Aditi and she becomes pregnant with his child. When Diganta tells Akash that he loves Aditi and would like to marry her so he should approach Aditi’s father on his behalf, Akash is heartbroken. On the day of their marriage, Diganta goes out to attend a call and doesn’t come back(all a part of a plan by Rameshwar Shau, the evil man in the village).Aditi’s father asks Akash to marry Aditi.She thinks Akash has killed Diganta to win her love and their relationship is strained. In due course of time they are divorced. Akash gets drunk one day and comes in front of a car. He lands up in a hospital and comes across Diganta. Aditi also lands up at the hospital to give birth the same time. Akash even donated blood to help her recover. He goes away and lands up injured sprawled across the road. Aditi comes to know the truth from Diganta. Akash is given shelter by a priest. Akash converts to Christianity and becomes a father. Diganta and Aditi track down Akash and ask him to come back with them, but Akash refuses to do so and resumes the life of a priest.
