Aamar Maa is a 1998 Indian Bengali family film released on 1998. The film is directed by Dilip Biswas, music composed by Satya Saha.
Dr. Chatterjee informs Sudipta that Kajal will never be a mother again when she gives birth to a dead child. Arindam’s wife dies after giving birth to a son, named Tamal. Kajal and Sudipta bring up the motherless boy. After that Kajal miraculously gives birth to a child, Sourav. Bibhas, Sudipta’s cousin, cannot accept this fact and conspires to separate Kajal and Tamal from Sudipta and Sourav. Sourav and Tamal grow up separately. Incidently they become friends. Finally all reconcile with each other. Sudipta dies. Before his death he realizes that Kajal loves Tamal much more than Sourav.
