Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Ab... Bas (2004)
The story starts with Somya Mathur who lives a middle-class standard with her father and mother in Mumbai. At the age of five, her parents go through a bad phase and a divorce and she acts out to live with her mother. After she grows up, her mother passes away, and she affirms never to see her father again. She rents a room with a family, who she calls 'Aai' and 'Baba', and is friendly with Niti, who runs a resort. Somiya agrees to enter in a beauty contest, battles, and is crowned the city's beauty queen.
This gets her undesirable attention from a strange male, and a wealthy guy, Karan Malhotra, who comes to her recovery. Both fall in love with each other and get married. They live a pleasant life and are the parents of a girl Sara. When Sarah is of school-going age, Somiya gets a call from a lady named Ruby, asking for Karan's company. When she questions Karan, he readily agrees to have an affair with her but says not have to do anything with her again. The next day she stinks another woman's perfume on Karan's clothes and when opposing, he beats her. The abuse continues and he commands her to leave the house. Then, the story has twists and turns and she manages to escape from the house with the help of Niti. The story has many ups and down in the movie.
