Abdullah is a 1960 Indian Bollywood drama, costume film released on Jan 01, 1960. The film is directed by Akkoo, produced by Amrit Singh , music composed by Bulo C. Rani.
Abdullah on old man who lives all alone in the desert with a few animals. The tiny oasis he lives in has the coolest water in the area. All the caravans go out of their way to be able to drink this cold water. . In the same desert lives a cruel and blood thirsty brigand named Khalil who terrorises the villages and caravans every now and then. . One of Abdullahs best frinends Amir was attacked and killed with his caravan by Khalil, while he was helping a pregnat by Khalil, whil he was helping a pregnant woman to get to a hospital. However, before the womans death, she was found by Abdullah, who delivered her child and promised to bring the boy up like his own. . Thus the monotonous existence of Abdullah was transformed to a life full of joy and care for this Hindu boy named Krishna. He wanted to bring him up in his own faith and even managed to find a Hindu Priest to perform the necessary rituals to make the boy a worthy Hindu like his mother. . As God would have it, on the very same day Khalil appeared, crucified Abdullah and abducted Krishna. The rest of the film demonstrates with vivid excitement how Abdullah with the help of the brave and noble Sheikh Mohammed-Al-Kamal finds his Krishna again, and how Khalil with his murderous gang is annihilated in the process.
