Abhishapta Prem is a 1997 Indian Bengali romance film released on 1997. The film is directed by Manoj Sen, music composed by Apurba Bejbarua.

Deep and Puja are madly in love. Puja hails from a rich family, whereas Deep comes from a lower middle class background. His father who was a superintendent in the police force had killed a woman years ago when a gang was trying to escape. The lady was Puja's mother. Her father gets to know the identity of Deep and tries to take revenge by killing him. The film ends with the death of the pair.
