Story
Achin, a servant in the house of a zamindar, Rai Saheb takes shelter in an inhabited island as he has been wrongly framed in a murder case by Rai Saheb who had asked him to take the blame for a murder committed by his mentally deranged son. He falls in love with Pakhi the daughter of a fisherman.Rai Saheb fixes his son’s marriage with Pakhi. When Achin goes to meet Pakhi one day at night; he is arrested and put behind bars. Meanwhile Pakhi is married to Rai Saheb’s son and is informed that Achin would soon be hanged. Achin is released due to lack of evidence. He comes back only to find that Pakhi is no more as he has committed suicide.
