After seeing nothing but bitterness between his backbiting Mumbai-founded mom-dad, Kishen and Mala Chopra, Bunty rejects to wed his lover, Tanya Gonsalves. He is then made known to her strange grandpa, Professor Anthony Gonsalves, and discovers that the final has conceived a time-touring mechanism. Bunty voyages back in time - exactly Holi 1975 - when Mumbai was named Bombay and gets to encounter his mom-dad when they were undeveloped.
