Now this film did have a noble idea. But alas! Why had it to be so ignobly done. While the first half does manage to raise a few pertinent questions on higher education and parental pressure, the second half goes completely cuckoo with a bunch of crazy characters aimlessly going around under the ruse of running a college of the youth, by the youth, for the youth. 3 Idiots has certainly inspired a lot of critique on the country's education system. While this aspect was just a part of the blockbuster, Admission Open is a movie totally dedicated to the flawed education system in our country. First 3 IDIOTS. Then PAATHSHAALA. Now ADMISSIONS OPEN, which, like the above-mentioned films, takes a look at the present-day education system. The thought behind ADMISSIONS OPEN is very topical - let the youth pursue their vocation/ambitions/dreams - but director K.D. Satyam makes a complete mishmash of a terrific idea and you can't help but feel sorry for those who might stroll into the cineplex to look for answers.Read full review1.0

It is understandable that not everyone is required to know about Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. There is certainly a world beyond that but then how generic is that world where bhaigiri or the art of seduction rules? Frankly, does one actually have to 'enrol' into such classes?
