Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Amanush (2010)
Vinod, an orphan grows up in a church. He gets a chance to study engineering in a college in Kolkata, but he is unable to adjust himself with the environment and everyone in the college starts hating him and is treated as an untouchable. He becomes close friends with Rhea and eventually falls in love with her, but Rhea treats him only as a close friend. Rhea who did not like Adi previously is in love with him.Vinod decides to remove anyone whoever would come between him and Rhea. He takes Rhea to North Bengal by lying to her that Adi would join them there. He goes and meets the father of the church who asks him to let Rhea go. He hugs the father so tightly that he is suffocated and passes away.Vinod keeps rhea in a secluded place. The police along with Adi who are on Vinod’s tracks arrive there as they have discovered that he has killed Bobby, another of his classmates arrive there.Vinod kills the officer investigating the case. Rhea comes to know the truth. There is a fight between Adi and Vinod where both of them hang from a high point and both of them hold onto Rhea’s hand.Adi tells Rhea to let go of Vinod’s hand, but she says she can not do so as he is her friend. In the end, Vinod himself lets go of Rhea’s hand and falls to his death.
