Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Amar Kahini (1993)
Amar (Tapas Pal) was a professor of chemistry and also a reseacher on mustard oil. One stormy night his laboratory was destroyed in a thunderstorm. But in this process a new 'pink mustard oil' was discovoured which was two hundred times more powerful than regular fuels. With this discovery he came to be known as Dr. Ramen Chowdhury (Anil Chatterjee). Ayesha Khatun (Anuradha Roy) joined him as his lab assistant. Amar spoke about this mustard oil to his to his elder brother and his friend Chaturbhuj Chakladar (Biplab) who immediately started planning as to how he could get the fields in which Amar cultivated that mustard. He set out to destroy Amar and so joined an Arabian group but after being fired from there he joined a French group. They tried to get the formula for pink mustard oil. Koyel (Ritu Don) and Amar fell in love with each other and Danny (Udaybhanu) started planning to separate them but failed. The French group kidnapped Amar and Koyel but at last with the help of Ayesha and the Arabian group they escaped.
