Amar Shilpi is a 1977 Indian Bollywood film released on 1977. Tells the tragic love story of Jakkanna a great sculptor who fell in love and married a pretty dancer Manjari. King Goolideva, who had an eye on Manjari threatened her with dire condequences if she did not dance in his palace. Jakkanna suspected his wifes morality. Heart-broken Manjari committed suicide. Meanwhile, Jakkanna inpressed by the teachings of saintly man and on learnings the secret of being a human being devoted his life in the pursuit of art to be immortalised.
