Ammu Ki Bakri is a 1980 Indian Bollywood film released on 1980. Kuttan, the pet goat of ten-year-old Ammu, infuriates her father Appu. Appu is a farmer and Kuttan has a way of nibbling at every thing in Appus fields. When Kuttan chews up a vegetable patch, Appu beats ammu for not disciplinging her pet and gives the errant goat to the landlord. Relenting, Appu gives Ammu a gold chain. Ammu reushes to the landlonrd pleading of the return of her goat. He demands forty rupees in exchange. She remembers the gold chain and offers it in place of money. Deepaly touched, the landloerd returns the goat without taking any money - and promises to learn from Ammu the meaning of being kind to animals.
