Anamika 1973

Anamika is a 1973 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1973. The film is directed by Raghunath Jhalani, produced by Tahir Hussain.

This is the story of Devendra Dutt (Sanjeev Kumar) who is a lawyer by profession. His hobbies include writing. He is a great writer. One day, as he was coming from one of his functions, he finds a girl on the roadside. She was thrown out of a running car. Devendra, his uncle (A K Mangal) finds out that she is wounded on her head. They take her home and get medication done by their family doctor (Iftikhar). She tries to act as if she has lost her memory. She claims herself to be Devendra's wife. Devendra gets angry with this and asks her to leave immediately, but Dr. Hussain persuades him to let her stay for a few days more. During her stay Devendra falls in love with her. He takes her to Manali to get her some fresh air and there he comes to know that she is married and she is actually someone else's wife. Devendra and she were caught by the police during a raid. He thows her out of the house. Devendra one day finds out through the newspaper that she is not a prostitute but a daughter of social worker. Devendra saves her from her brother-in-law and they both live happily ever after.
