Andhi Gali 1984

Andhi Gali is a 1984 Indian Bollywood film released on 1984. The film is directed by Buddhadev Dasgupta, produced by Buddhadev Dasgupta. Hemanta was a school teacher and an activist in a political party of left persuasion in Calcutta. Chased by the police he ran to his mantor Avida, who could not give him shelter. He moved to Bombay and in five years become a company executive and married Jaya. To supplement his income to buy a flat, he urged Jaya to pose as a model and secured a flat. Salim Ali who has hired Jaya, gave her a pose which she found humiliating. She left in a buff but Hemant compelled her to resume. Jaya committed suicide leaving Hemant the prison of a flat.
