Antarale 1985

Antarale is a 1985 Indian Bengali suspense film released on 1985. The film is directed by Shatanu Mitra.

The story is a love tale that wins happiness after exposing a conspiracy. Kuheli was the heir of a privileged family. Her family friends plotted her marriage with Rudra and conspired to have possession of her assets. Rudra, a spoiled brat joined his father Asit Narayan in the dirty game and tried his best to impress Kuheli. But everything went in vain, as she discovered Rudra and his father's realities. In the mean while she came in contact with Kaushik, a worker in Asit Narayan's company who was a kind hearted man. She fell in love with him. Here occurs a twist in the story. Kaushik, with whom the female lead was expected to spend the rest of her life doesn't have a family name to inherit. He is abused in public by Rudra's father. He reminds Kaushik of his social status as he comes to know about their relationship. But everything comes to a happy ending as people come to know that Kaushik is the son of the Sen family and the inheritor of the ancestral property. It is Asit Narayan who conspired to deprive him of his rights. The conclusion ultimately fixes punishment for the fraudulent people and joyous lives for the innocent ones.
