Anupama is a 1999 Indian Bengali romance film released on 1999. The film is directed by Bina Bandyopadhyay, produced by Bina Bandyopadhyay , music composed by Snehasish Chakraborty.

‘Anupama’ tells the story of a lonely woman. Arpita Pal as the protagonist lives in an orphanage which belongs to Samir Mukherjee and his son. Returning home Sujoy goes to see the happenings in their orphanage and finds to his utter astonishment that the children were being neglected. Sujoy falls in love with Anupama and later this ill fated girl is molested by Yudhishtir. To save herself she injures him and escapes. She finds shelter at Biswajit's place. Biswajit is the family physician of Samir Mukherjee and a doctor of a renowned nursing home. He cannot save his friend’s life who dies of a heart attack. Sujoy goes to the orphanage and Yudhishtir convinces him that Anupama has intentionally injured him. The movie takes a dramatic turn when Biswajit appoints Anupama as Ananya. Sujoy comes home and recognises Ananya. After a lot of complications, Sujoy marries Anupama and harmony is restored.
