Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Anurag (1990)
This is the story of a singer who wants to flourish through music. But he faces a lot of hindrances in his journey towards fame. Lalu Dutta who is fond of Indian music gives him a break in stage performance. Rini, a college student likes Abhijit's songs and gradually falls in love with him. Her brother Rahul does not approve of the relationship. Rahul loves Leena who competes with Abhijit. So, Rahul and Abhijit are also at loggerheads. Rahul tries to help Leena in getting offers but every time he fails due to Abhijit's growing fame. Rini, on the other hand, tries to meet Abhijit with her father who is a goldsmith. Her father likes Abhijit and praises Rini's choice. But Rahul traps Abhijit in a false charge. Rini also falls into the trap and starts hating Abhijit. Rahul then tries to bring fame on Leena by expanding his father's business. Leena rejects Rahul after getting fame. Rahul comes back to his father and admits everything. Leena informs Rini about Rahul's plan against Abhijit. Regretting for the past doings Rini comes back in Abhijit's life. Rahul gets insulted by his father and sister Rini. Out of anger Rahul plans to kill Abhijit but dies in an accident. Abhijit and Rini unite with each other and go forward with their new life.
