Story
Mahendar Shing was a well-known singer. On day he went to a village with Bimal, his secretary. In the village Mahendar met Shakunutala, the daughter of a priest. Mahendar loved Shakuntala and married her. Shakuntala was a singer but never sang on the stage. After their wedding, Mahendar became a very popular man. Everybody ascribed this change to Shakuntala. This troubled Mahendar and after some days, Mahendar and Shakuntala started quarrelling. Shakuntala left her husband's house. Her mother-in-law also passed away. To make matters worse Shakuntala was molested by a village boy Nandu. After that Shakuntala took shelter in Malti's house with her son Shibam. After some years, Mahendar saw a boy injured on the road. He admitted the boy in the hospital. Mahendar saw the marriage photo in the boy's hand. He was shocked to realise that this was his own son. But Malti came to Mahendar's house and said that Shibam was her son. Nandu saw Shakuntala and wanted to kidnap Shibam. Malti then revealed the truth to Mahendar. Mahendar came and rescued his wife and son and started a new life happily.
