Apnapan 1977

Apnapan is a 1977 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1977. The film is directed by J. Om Prakash, produced by J. Om Prakash.

In this movie Anil Mehra (Jeetendra) who is an assistant manager of a company comes to Bombay from Delhi and settles there. After some months he meets this girl Radhika (Sulakshana) on the road while searching for an address. Radhika shows him the way and Anil drops her to her destination. Radhika forgets her book in Anil's car and to return it to her Anil searches for her phone number in telephone directory. They keep meeting repeatedly in some way or other and fall in love with each other. They decide to get married and before that, Radhika comes to know that Anil was a divorce and has a kid who stays and studies in Srinagar and his ex-wife left him. She comes to know about this from Anil himself. After getting married they both goes to J&K to meet Prakash who is Anil's son and wants to bring him back to Bombay. When they reach Srinagar, they meet Prakash (Master Bittu) who studies in a convent school. They spend several days there together with Prakash telling him, that radhika is his mother who had gone abroad for long time. One day when Radhika goes to a shop to purchase wool for sweater, she meets Kamini (Reena Roy) in the same shop and they become good friends. Unaware, that Radhika is Anil's wife, Kamini tells her that she is married to Mr. Aggrawal who is the biggest industrialist in town. One day when Radhika asks Kamini to come at her place for a tea, that day Kamini comes to know that Radhika is married to Anil who is her ex-husband and Prakash is her child. Kamini comes to know that Prakash is her son whom she left for this new life. Will Radhika ever come to know about kamini and Anil's past relation? Will Anil go back to Kamini?

Picturises the fallacy of modern living and family life. A divorcee, Anil falls in love with Radhika and after an oper-heart talk, they marry to become model couple. Radhika loves her stepson as her own. On a holiday, they meet Anils ex-wife, now a wife of another, spending her life in parties, games and superficial fun.
