Ardh Satya 1983

Ardh Satya is a 1983 Indian Bollywood drama, social, crime, offbeat, action film released on Nov 18, 1983. The film is directed by Govind Nihalani, produced by Manmohan Shetty.
The story starts with Anant Velankar and Jyotsna Gokhale both of them meet each other in a party. Anant Welankar is a police officer and Jyotsna is a lecturer in a college. Both like each other and they want to get engaged. But, things on Anant’s side don’t work well, since being a police officer catches the local mafia gang who do smuggling. So, when he catches the three local goons, their main boss releases them and Anant wants to catch him, but cannot since he is a strong person and he on the other side starts establishing cracks in his career. Anant is asked to leave the police force and his relations with Jyotsana also changes and he is lost somewhere. But after a while, Jyotsana comes back to his life and asks him to take another profession, which he refuses. Anant then tries to plan a strategy against the local mafia and he does that. He easily catches the people engaged in the heinous crime and then he kills the local mafia’s leading leader and then surrenders himself to the police force.
