Babu 1985

Babu is a 1985 Indian Bollywood drama,social film released on Nov 22, 1985. The film is directed by A. C. Trilokchandra, produced by V. R. Parmesahwaran.

The story starts with Babu and his life. He lives a very low class living alone and he drives an auto-rickshaw to earn his existence. On day he helps Shankarlal and Shankarlal invites him to his place for party. His wife and Shankarlal both like Babu and they give him everything that he wants. Babu likes a girl known as Kammo and thinks of spending the entire life with her. But, one day she is sexually assaulted and is on the verge of ending her life. Then babbu gets to know this and he immediately murders the crook. But, after this he is sentenced to jail and after years of imprisonment he is back. He sees that Pinky, who is the daughter of Shankarlal is begging. He is amazed to see this and visits Shankarlal’s home. Due to the death of Shankarlal, things get worsened for them and their daughter has to beg. Now, Babu only things of providing strong support to the entire family and provide education to Pinkly, which he does. But, in return he gets only Pinky’s hatred and yes there are many such tragic events that make babu as the central character of the entire film.
