She woke up wit the shrange feelings a young girl has on the morining of her wedding. But as she opened her eyes she found herself in an alien atmosphere. Neither the house nor the city neither the servants nor the people; neither her dress nor her enviornment were the same. There was no shadow of doubt in her mind. She had slept at Bombay in her home among her parents, but now there was no one whom she recognised. The servants claim to have been in her service for several years, a girl Nalini by name claims to be her daughter. How can a woman yet to be married have a seventeen years old daughter? The only familiar face in the crowd of strangers was that of Subodh when she recognised as her brother-in-law, though every body she was his wife Nanda. However nothing could shaken her in life belife that she was Radha, Nandas younger sister. . Her statements and behaviour made people doubt her sanity. Subodh said that she was startled by a cracker, lost her balance fell down and suffered a brian injury. Her present state of mind was due to that injury. She said that here was an expolosion at Bombay and the deep wound was because of that. The brain specialist Doctor Rajesh was of the opinion that nothing was wrong with her brain except tirdness. . Nobody belived nor could she believe any one. She will prove that she was Radha of Bombay. But neither her alleged fiance Ramkumar Sharma could say with certainity that she was Radha, nor her tailor who had stiched her clothes sinces childhood. Time and circumstances were working against her and in the great of desert of loneliness. She was searching for her identity, but who could show her paradise, her destination of spring....
