Rather than beating around the bush, let us directly come to the point as to: Is BANG BANG really as big as it's made out to be? The man who goes by the name of 'Hrithik Roshan' is back and how! This time, 'supporting' his acts are the highly sophisticated mean machines, hot wheel rubber whose road smooching creates friction, state of the art weapons and much more. When you have a film which is as big and magnanimous as this one, where you have monstrous budgets and colossal star power, the result will be nothing short of BANG BANG!

Bang Bang! is pure Hrithik porn. A star as big and stunning as Hrithik needs grand outings. So the script of K&D was bought, a gorgeous woman signed, locations short-listed and extras handed out a page each detailing their expressions and lines.

Bang Bang is one of the breezier Hindi-language action packages of recent times, but that really isn’t saying much. The bar, albeit sparkly, still remains at the same desensitized height. It can best be described by my first answer when asked how the film was – ‘Houseful’.

Overall, ‘Bang Bang’ is a complete let down. The film has nothing really to offer expect some breath-taking action sequences and a sizzling hot chemistry between Hrithik and Katrina. Watch the film only if you are a fan of either of the two actors!

If no logic and only fun infused with dhamakedaar action is your motto, then Bang Bang! is the perfect movie choice. And all you die-hard Hrithik fans, head to the nearest theatre and ogle at his finely chiseled body. Also, if Bollywood’s Barbie – Katrina is your favorite actress, do watch this film to enjoy her cute, innocent character. But remember to overlook the acting element. Else you might leave the cinema hall feeling disappointed. Go Bang Bang! this weekend.

But the film ends as badly as it started, saved by the lead actors-cavorting-in sexy wear song at the end credits. Most people hung around for that and left swooning about the beauty of the lead actors. If you’re content doing that, plus enjoying a few over-the-top stunts, book your ticket.

The film then isn’t unwatchable, but at 2 hours and 35 minutes, it certainly tests your patience. How many times have you ordered a dish that looks terrific photographed in a menu, but disappoints when it shows up on the table? Bang Bang is that kind of meal.

Bang Bang is a string of scenes as unexplainable as the one before it. From the get go you’re confused and even once the film concludes you’re not quite sure what happened in that final hospital scene. Did he just quit his job, did they betray him or is he just taking a hiatus? By that time your brain is numb and your care factor is zero. I wouldn’t call Bang Bang unwatchable but it sure as hell comes pretty close.

Bang Bang gets the boredom quotient bang-on. The rest is all noise and fury about a diamond, Kohinoor no less, stolen from a British museum. The way the thief carries the precious ‘diamond’(which looks like a paperweight) around in his pocket goes to show how little a certain group of filmmakers respect the audiences’ intellect.

If your idea of a fun film is watching two good looking stars running around senselessly for two hours and thirty minutes then go and watch Bang Bang. The makers have put in a lot of money. Is it wasted or well spent, only time will tell. I would suggest you save your hard earned money and watch Bang Bang on TV someday soon.

Both the lead characters are not in their element- Katrina was not exactly Meryl Streep to begin with but she is embarrassing in some scenes. Hrithik also looks like someone who is not particularly interested or convinced in the proceedings. It would be fair to say that the stuntman did more work than him in the film. In one word, this film is avoidable.

I can’t completely put the film down. At least, true-blue action stunts are being attempted. They might not have been executed well, but hopefully it will get better with the next film or the next. Meanwhile, though this is meant for some other long weekend, one which has the film running on TV with the luxury of flipping channels.

ANG BANG is such intelligent madness that it will make you cringe in your seat. Apparently, it’s supposed to be a remake of the Tom Cruise-Cameroon Diaz starrer Knight and Day. I’m sure the writers (three of them) could have done a better cut-paste job. Copy karna toh itna mushkil to nahi hai!

Bad execution aside, if you’re going to watch Bang Bang! do so with an open mind. And watch it for the most beautiful couple in b-town Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. The heavenly panoramas of Himachal Pradesh pale in comparison. That alone should be worth the price of an admission ticket.

‘Bang Bang!’ is less about logic, and more about fluff. And, that’s not a bad thing, if it had been done well. But, ‘Bang Bang!’ ends up being an unimaginative ogle-fest. Clearly, technology has handed us more options than just Bollywood to go for.

The script too is amateurishly written. There are hardly any plot points, just a showcase of Roshan’s good looks and dancing abilities (you can’t be a burglar if you have two left feet), and a plot twist involving the diamond that trumps Vidya Balan’s “baby” in “Kahaani” in terms of sacred MacGuffins. Thankfully, he has enough charm to make us stomach the film, but not enough to steal our hearts.

Fans of Katrina Kaif shall not be disappointed with her cutesy act (which she nails) and her jerky dance moves. But then there’s Roshan—freshly worked out, hair carefully set. He makes light of the action scenes with as much confidence as he glides across the dance floor. He alone puts the bang in ‘Bang Bang’.

No heads and no tails! The story is about the chasing of diamonds. The movie is taken from the Hollywood. The director’s of the film could have tried something more different that simply copying and pasting the material from Hollywood. It’s a remake of Knight and Day. This film is quite long of about 156 minutes. The story starts with Harleen (Katrina Kaif)who is a bank officer. She lives with her grandmother who is enthusiastic and happy- go- lucky woman. One day, Harleen signs for a blind date with a man and there in the story enters a thief Rajveer (Hrithik Roshan). Rajveer is the robber and has robbed the diamonds from London. Now after her blind date goes missing, it is Rajveer who entertains her and charms her. Now there are people who are running after him for getting those diamonds. Since Harleen has been spotted with him, so she is also in danger. So she accompanies him wherever he goes. Since they are in danger, both of them go to one location or the other and sing songs at their favorite destinations. Many brands have endorsed their products in the film. The producers have also financed a lot of amount in this film. The actors have used many modes of transportation in the film. Talking about the performances, Hritik Roshan has shined all the way long. He looks good in the movie but he doesn’t act good in the movie. Kartrina’s role in the movie is useless. I mean she is always roaming from one destination to the other. The locations are just the icing on the cake. The music given is good and it makes you stick till the end. The music has been composed by Vishal and Shekhar. The dance moves create a mark. The film runs on a very good in the first half. In the second half their starts the actual game of ‘tom and jerry’ chasing each other. It makes you feel like there is wastage of money in the film. It doesn’t make your mood go on with a good note.
