Beti is a 1957 Indian Bollywood action film released on 1957. The film is directed by Suraj Prakash.
Many years back, in Dacca, a rich family used to live, whose Head due to some hasty fault, got involved his son-in-law got 17 years impris- onment. His name was Aminuddin, His wife with a baby of 6 months and a relative boy Salim of 4 years after the deathe of her father, left Dacca and settled in a town distant from Dacca named Lakhanpur. . In jail after 17 years, when Amminuddin was about to be released, he divulged his seeret of family due to which he was imprisoned, to two of his co-prisoners Lali & Bakshoo. They managed to get him involved further in a case, and when they were releasd, they came to Lakhanpur. . Lali, the greatest crook and dacoit was also a great poser. He posed himself as Amminuddin in the house, where Amina & Salim lived together The crooks are generally favoured by chance in beginning, and it so happened that when he reached Lakhanpur, the wife of Amminuddin died and so there was nobody in the house who could recognise him. Bakshoo stayed in a hotel to kept in touch with Lali who by this trick wanted to lay hands on money jewellery and property of Amina. Bakshoo posed himself as Nawab Shamsher Baksh Bahadur. . To their ill-luck, they did not report their entry into the city, as was necessary for the dangerous criminals, who had gone to jail three times. Now the Police was on vigil Shah Nawaz DSP Executive, and Louis DSP. C.I.D. were after them. . So much so Lali could not very easily lay hands on Aminas money and made a theft of ornaments of one Sabha-Stage Artist-staying in the hotel and over and above, he so manipulated that he got arrested Salim who was to be the son-in-law of Amminuddin. The would be bride & Bridegroom-Amina & Salim-loved each other but the poser ali was more clever to separate them. Now Amina began suspecting Satim. But nature never forgives the culprit and honest Police-offcers are the real servants of the public. . Amminuddin was in meantime released form jail, he came to house.
