Beti No. 1 2000

Beti No. 1 is a 2000 Indian Bollywood comedy,drama film released on 2000. The film is directed by T. Rama Rao, produced by Rajiv Kapoor.

Bharat (Govinda) lives happily with his parents Dashrath (Prem Chopra) and Durga (Aruna Irani). He has two brothers Ram (Ashok Saved) and Lakshman (Laksmikant Berde). They are very rich and Durga is very particular about everything. Both Ram and Lakshman are married and have four daughters each. Durga doesn't like this and wants an heir for her wealth. Bharat falls in love with Priya ,but she is poor and Bharat knows that his mother will not agree to their marriage. So he makes a plan with his friend Mulayamchand (Johny lever) and pays the dowry himself. But after marriage Durga comes to know about this and trobles Priya. Priya becomes pregnant and they tell Durga that she is going to have a baby boy but actually a baby girl is born. Bharat's friend Mulla gets a baby boy, as Durga gets a heart attack, they change their children to keep the secret. Every day they pass the kids here and there but one day Durga comes to know about this and is very angry. Finally, Dashrath tells her attitude is not right and then she realises her mistake and accepts the child.
