Bewafaa 2005

Bewafaa is a 2005 Indian Bollywood costume drama, drama film released on Feb 25, 2005. The film is directed by Dharmesh Darshan, produced by Boney Kapoor.

The film revolves around Anjali who loves a musician Raja but after her sister's wedding she marries her brother-in-law and leaves Raja for the sake of her sister's children.

Anjali (Kareena Kapoor) based in Canada falls in love with Raja (Akshay Kumar) a budding musician. The two confide their intentions to Anjali's sister Aarti (Sushmita Sen), who approves of their decision and promises to get them married. But sadly Aarti passes away while giving birth and Anjali is left feeling shattered. The family decides to get her married to her brother–in-law, Aditya Sahai (Anil Kapoor) a mature and established buisnessman. Anjali is torn between Raja and her two newly-born neices. She accepts her fate and gets married to Aditya. The family relocates to New Delhi, but Anjali is stuck in a marriage with no love only compromise. Amidst all of this Raja who is now a well known fusion singer returns into Anjali's life and before she can realise, Anjali is sucked into an extra marital affair and she's torn between her ex-lover and her husband. This treacherous path will decide her destiny and following whatever direction her takes her.
