Raja Vikram Pratap, a multimillioner Aristorcrat, was noted for his strict adherence to a very rigid moral coade. . His elder son Surinder very obediently carried out his fathers instructions but younger son Mahinder was of defying nature. He thought that this house was nothing but a golden grave yard and we all lined as prisoners in this house. . Once Mahinder went out of the house in absence of his father and joined in the street dance. Raja Sahib while returining back form his work, passed from that street where the dance was in progress. He was shocked to find that his son also was dancing with the street dancer. He stopped the car and pulled his son from that place and brought him to the house. Raja Sahib took his came and was about to punish him, when they young boy out of shock, collapsed and died. The mother and brother wept bitterly. After this incidence Surinders heart also hated the discipline and unnecessary torture of his father. He leaves the house. . In the train, he meets Ratan, who makes him to follow his line of living the life. . Surinder as usual tried to pick up a girl Mala from the road, but she slaps him on his face. Surinder takes a vow to take revenge from her. To teach him a lesson, she acts as though she is in love with him and at the proper time, when Surinder was about to outrage her modesty, she bursts out at him and challanges him. Surinder is stunned and shocked. He his now completely changed into a different man and realises his follies. . Surinder gets a telegram that his father was seriously sick. He immediately starts and comes back to his house and takes care of his father. With his day and night service, Raja Sahib, gets well but is unable to walk. Raja Sahib tells Surinder about his past life and that Rani is his danghter who is dancing in the streets to earn her living. Surinder gives a promise to his father that he will keep this as a and also will do everything to get back Rani her status and her rights . Surinder goes in search of Rani. He soon finds her in a street when she was dancing. Surinder rescues her from Ratans designs and gets her to his own house. . Once Rani enters Raja Sahins private room and discovers the picture of her mother along with Raja Sahibs picture. She takes a vow that she will spare no efforts in making them to accept this as truth and they shoud speak from their own mouth that she was the daughter of Raja Vikram Pratap. In the meanwhile Raja Vikram Pratap dies. . Rani turns the house into hell for Surinders mother. SHe orders Surinder to send Rani out of the house. Surinder who could not leave Rani alone, once again leaves the house along with Rani and goes to live in a seperate house. . Ratan takes advantage of this situation and tells Mala that Surinder and demand s explanation about this. Surinder convinces her that Rani is only just like his sister. Mala also stays with him in the same house. . On Raja Sahibs death anniversary (Shradh Day) mother comes to Surinder house and sees his son reverantly performing his fathers ceremony. Rani insults mother who angrily leaves the place. Mala suggests Ranis marriage. Rani, to tease Surinder, still more, chooses Ratan to be her bridergroom. Surinder is shocked at this. He refuses to accept this relation. But Rani is adamant and her wedding with Ratan is about to take place when Surinder comes and stops the marriage. This infuriates Ratan who puts up a fight with Surinder. . Mother demands what is the relationship of Rani with Surinder. Ratan reveals the secret that Rani is the daughter of the late Raja Vikram Pratap. Mother now comes forward and accepts Rani as her daughter. Surinder also says that you are my sister.
