Whereas we find that more and more people are trying to be good and helpful to the poor and needy there still exist some selfish and self- centred people who would not mind doing anyhting that goes to thier benefit and interest, not even if it is at the cost of orphans and starving children. And this is the story of Bombay Ka Chor which begins with Seth Kishenchand an industrialist who has everything but a child of his own. At one time Seth Kishenchand goes to meet his child- hood freind Ramdas now a supervisor of an orphanage and dicides to give half of his property to the orphange and half to his niece Mala. Coming to knwo of this, Sheths younger brcther gets furious and invo- lves himself in hot discussion with his elder brohter. This gives the Seth his life time shock from which he could not suvive. The Mehta of Seth Kishenchand finding the Seth alone at the time of his sudden death steals the will and sells it to Randhir. . For want of funds the plight of orphanage becomes worse and this forces simpleton and kind hearted Kishore to leave for Bombay in search of a job. In Bombay Kishore comes across Mala daughter of late Seths younger brother. Having gone through few clashes Kishore and Mala go romantic. Amar henchman of Randhir finds Kishore resembling Randhir and replaces him as Randhir whom he shoots down for some personal differences. Here Kishore finds himslef in a trap. Kishore also comes to know that his sweet heart Mala is no other than the daughter of Seths younger brother who wants to buy and burn the original will. Kishore finds himself at a crossroad, whether to have Mala or to fight himself at a crossroad, whether to have Mala or to fight with Seths younger brother and get hold of original will to retrieve his family from misery and proverty.
